What is OrthoQuest?

OrthoQuest is a private focused WhatsApp platform to create knowledge networking groups for specialists in the field of Equine Locomotor Pathology.

The current moderators of these groups are:
Veterinarians: Dr. Erik Bergman and Dr. Brenda Hoogelander
Physiotherapists: Dewi Bergman
Farriers: Kees Alblas

Objective

The objective of OrthoQuest is to share knowledge by discussing cases and experiences regarding equine locomotor pathology related topics between equine specialists. Latest research show the advantages of using this medium. It’s a great tool to supplement medical education between professionals. Frequently specialists are dealing with complicated (lameness) cases, in which feed back from colleagues is highly appreciated to help make decisions and work out a treatment plan. OrthoQuest is initiated to help with these cases by sharing knowledge globally between specialists.

OrthoQuest is initiated by the Sporthorse Medical Diagnostic Centre as a leader in the ‘multidisciplinary approach’ to share knowledge within and between different specializations.
